Every account here is measured the same way. We read what it posts, then count how many independent newsrooms went on to carry the same story. What comes out is a pickup rate and the arithmetic behind it — never an opinion about whether the account was right.

The post count is the point. A rate over a handful of posts is noise, so no coin is awarded until the account has been measured enough times that the figure cannot be luck. Thresholds rise as the record deepens.

A pickup rate is not a truth rating. It counts how often the press followed this account, not how often the account was right — newsrooms have been wrong together before, and a claim nobody carried can still be true. Posts older than the news window we hold are shown as unknown, never as misses.
